David J. Bennion was born on January 29, 1940, in Glendale, California. He has practiced law in California for over 35 years. He has also lived in France and Switzerland and is fluent in French.

Education
Mr. Bennion attended Stanford University in California as an undergraduate, receiving a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 1964. He graduated from Stanford Law School as a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) in 1966.
